Call for papers deadline:  November 15, 2016
Proposals may be submitted from 14th September 2016 to 15th November 15 2016 - we accept online submissions only.
Participants will be notified of the decision by 15th December 2016.

Submission instructions
Each participant may submit up to 2 papers (this includes co-authored papers) or organized panel proposals. Additional proposals will not be considered.
Each panel or paper proposal has to be submitted to 1 section
Paper proposal length: 300 words including title

Each author/co-author should have a MyECPR account to be able to submit.
MyECPR account is very easy to set up and does not require institutional affiliation to the ECPR.

The identification of the MyECPR account is based on the email address, the same email address should be thus used for the paper submission to the ECPG and the MyECPR registration.

Panel proposal: 
Each panel proposal should contain a minimum of 4 paper proposals and a maximum of 5 papers proposals. The panel proposal should contain as well: a panel title, a 150-word panel abstract, a panel chair and a panel discussant. Participant details - including chair and discussant – (first and last name, institutional affiliation, email address, work address, academic status) should be provided at the time of submission

Cancellation Policy
In line with the Office of Fair Trading and EU Distance Selling regulations, there is a 7 day cooling off period following registration during which time you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund of the conference fee. This policy only relates to registration, other items purchased may not be subject to a refund.

Cancellation/withdrawals from the conference received after the 7 day cooling off period and before 15 January midnight UK time will receive a refund of 50%.

Cancellation/withdrawals from the conference received after the 7 day cooling off period and received between 16 January and 15 February will receive a refund of 25%.

Cancellation/withdrawals from the conference received after 15 February will not receive a refund.

List of Sections

Participation Rules

Conference Language: Abstract proposals and papers must be sent in English. All presentations are in English.

Participation Limitation: Participation at the European Conference on Politics and Gender is limited to 2 papers (single author or co-author; each participant is allowed to submit a maximum of 2 paper abstracts (single author or co-author). Appearances as panel chair or as panel discussant or participation in roundtables do not count against the participation limit.

Registration: Deadline for registration is 2017 February 15. Participation will be automatically cancelled after this date.

Paper Author Responsibilities: Paper presenters are expected to ensure that participants of their panel, and in particular discussants, receive their paper by no later than May 15 2015. Paper presenters are kindly invited to consider upload their paper online through the device provided on the website of the conference.

Panel Scheduling request: Participants are expected to be available for any of the panel time slots. If your schedule is limited by teaching or travel constraints, please inform the section chairs to which your paper was accepted by not later than 2014 December 15. We will do our best to accommodate any request but we cannot guarantee it.

Paper presentation: All the rooms in which panels take place are equipped with a PC, beamer, screen and network connection. Panels last 90 minutes. If a panel includes 4 papers, each presenter is allowed a maximum of 12 minutes, allowing for a 10-minute intervention by the discussant as well as time for general discussion. If a panel includes 5 papers, each presenter is allowed a maximum of 10 minutes, allowing for a 12-minute intervention by the discussant as well as time for general discussion. Panel chairs can adjust the speaking time for each participant depending on the number of papers on the panel.
